Hi, I’m Evi (she/her), I am a registered clinical counsellor with masters level education and training, with specialized research in ADHD and self-esteem.

My aim is to support you toward relief or resolution of whatever concerns have led you to seek counselling. I am passionate about helping my clients to lean into the root cause of what is troubling them, and offering support and guidance as they move toward balance and healing.

I work with clients who’ve experienced traumas, low mood, anxiety, difficult relationships, adhd-related challenges or issues of self-worth —no issue is too big or too small.

I believe deeply in the power of counselling and I have had my own experiences as a client which led me to this work. It is a great privilege to walk alongside you as you learn and grow.

My counselling approach

My counselling approach is gentle, honest and trauma-informed. Sessions incorporate your needs and preferences as much as possible. You can expect sessions that are engaging and non-judgemental and which embrace feminist, queer, neurodivergent and multicultural ways of knowing.

I use a combination of Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I tailor my approach to meet my clients needs and and offer both practical mental health tools as well as emotional processing for lasting change.

Some of the other therapy models and frameworks you can expect in session are:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Parts Integration

  • An attachment focused approach

  • Master of Counselling from City University in Canada (City U)

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of British Columbia (UBC)

Education and Training

It takes tremendous courage to ask for help. You have already made it this far.

I believe that telling our stories, first to ourselves, and then to one another and the world, is in itself, a revolutionary act.
